Welcome to Swimcoachreviews, Singapore’s First Independent Swim Coach Review Platform (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

1. Nature of the Platform

This Platform is an independent review and information website.

We:

Publish user-generated reviews

Provide publicly available coach listings

Promote transparency in the swim coaching industry

We are NOT:

A swim school

A coaching agency

A booking platform

A payment processor

An escrow service

A representative of any listed coach

We do not provide swim lessons or employ swim coaches.

2. No Agency Relationship

Nothing on this Platform creates:

A partnership

An agency relationship

A joint venture

An employment relationship

Between the Platform and any swim coach listed.

All coaches operate independently.

3. No Booking or Payment Handling

We do not:

Arrange lessons

Confirm schedules

Negotiate fees

Collect payments

Process deposits

Handle refunds

All bookings, communications, payments, and agreements are made directly between users and coaches.

We are not a party to any agreement entered into between users and coaches.

4. No Liability for Coaching Services

Users engage swim coaches at their own discretion and risk.

We are not liable for:

Financial loss

Payment disputes

Refund disputes

Contract disagreements

Personal injury

Property damage

Dissatisfaction with services

Misrepresentation by coaches

The Platform provides information only.

5. User-Generated Content

Users may submit reviews and other content.

By submitting content, you confirm:

The review reflects your genuine first-hand experience

The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge

You are not submitting false or malicious content

You are not impersonating another person

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and publish your content.

6. Prohibited Content

We reserve the right to remove content that:

Is defamatory

Is knowingly false

Contains harassment or hate speech

Includes private personal data (NRIC, home address, etc.)

Violates Singapore law

Is spam or promotional in nature

We are not obligated to remove content unless it violates our policies or applicable law.

7. Review Disputes

Coaches may dispute reviews through our formal review dispute process.

However:

We do not remove reviews solely because they are negative.

Removal requires evidence of policy violation.

Our decision after investigation shall be final.

8. No Guarantee of Accuracy

We do not guarantee:

Accuracy of reviews

Completeness of information

Timeliness of listings

Reviews reflect personal opinions of individual users.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law:

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from:

Use of the Platform

Reliance on reviews

Engagement with coaches

Any agreement between users and coaches

Your use of this Platform is entirely at your own risk.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its owners, and operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from:

Content you submit

Your violation of these Terms

Disputes between you and any coach

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform, excluding user-submitted reviews, including:

Logos

Branding

Design

Website layout

Written content

Is owned by us and may not be copied without permission.

12. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to:

Suspend user access

Remove content

Restrict accounts

At our sole discretion if Terms are violated.

13. Privacy & PDPA

Your use of this Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore).

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
